Individual Painting Workshop

Get away from the demands of life with a relaxing day of painting and learning a new skill. Either watercolour or acrylic.

• Option 1: half day 3hrs, $360. Includes afternoon tea catered by Scout Cafe. I will guide you through painting an illustration of your choice on a plain background e.g. butterflies or flowers or mushrooms. Let's get whimsical!
• Option 2: full day 6.5hrs (6 hours of painting with a half an hour lunch break), $720. Includes lunch and afternoon tea catered by Scout Cafe. We can paint a full scene e.g. a landscape, a house painting, a pet portrait, a floral ensemble with a background.

Break away from an afternoon of doom scrolling and come experience a low-pressure one-on-one painting class with me where you can relax, create, and try something new. BYO alcohol if that's your speed.

Join me, Eliza Rose, in my Petrie Terrace studio here in Brisbane. It's a cosy and welcoming environment, where you can bop to some tunes and pat my tiny dog, Olive. Warm food and drink will be provided by Scout Cafe right next door, so we can settle into a session of relaxed experimentation and hands-on personal guidance by me, while nibbling on cake and sipping coffee/tea. For the full-day experience, we'll also have complimentary lunch and we can muse on how our painting's going in our half hour break.

• When: For the 3 hour classes: 2pm - 5pm on a day of your choosing (if you'd prefer a different time, let me know!) For the 6.5 hour classes: 10am-4:30pm.
• Where: the Eliza Rose Studio at 194 Petrie Terrace, Petrie Terrace. Right next door to Scout Cafe.
• Food & drink: Orders are taken on the day. The 3hr session includes a sweet treat (brownie, lemon tart, or orange & almond cake etc.) and a tea or coffee. The 6.5hr session includes the above as well as a full lunch meal from Scout Cafe. We will have a half an hour break for lunch. BYO alcohol if you would like - we'll provide the glassware!
• Parking: If you are driving, I will direct you to our private parking spot on the day. If you're catching public transport, we are a 12 minute walk from Roma St train station, 7 minute walk from the Normanby station, and a few doors down from the bus stop "Petrie Tce near Wellington St, stop 3b".

Things to note:

• I have a small low-shedding studio dog who loves to greet you!
  
• This is a wheelchair friendly space! We have ramps and a disabled toilet on the property for your convenience.
• This is an LGBT+ and trans-friendly space - a welcoming environment.
• 15+ age for this event.
• This is a non-smoking event and there is no smoking on or near the property.
• Content will be filmed during the event for marketing purposes, please let us know as you arrive if you would like to not be filmed or photographed.
