This painting is a bit more personal to me, as it's the twilight view from my new home and art studio in the heart of Brisbane. It’s quintessential Brisbane, with rolling hills, old beautiful Queenslander houses, and overarching sunsets. I wanted to capture the calm that falls over the early evening, when the twinkling fairy lights come on and the moon winks at you. I hope it reminds you of quiet evenings in your home too. 💙
